About me

Hi, I’m Long Vo Minh, a cybersecurity professional known in the community as edisc.

I am a Senior Application Security Engineer at Masan Group, where I focus on embedding security into the software development lifecycle and protecting our applications from emerging threats.

My journey into cybersecurity began at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), where I graduated with a degree in Computer Science. During my time as a student, I was deeply involved in the Capture the Flag (CTF) community, actively competing and honing my skills in binary exploitation and reverse engineering (RE-PWN).

Before my current role, I was a Security Engineer at Zalopay. There, I was responsible for conducting penetration tests on critical infrastructure, including on-premise servers and cloud environments like AWS and Kubernetes. That role provided me with a robust foundation in web application vulnerabilities, such as SQLi, XSS, IDOR, and SSRF.

I am also passionate about giving back to the community. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring talented students at the BKISC), hoping to inspire and support the next generation of security leaders from Bach Khoa.

Welcome to my space, where I’ll share my research, insights, and experiences from the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.
